Outstanding and fabulous. Those are the words I'd use to describe our experience with Laura Popejoy, as well as to describe the quality of her work. My husband and I love all of our photographs, and are still amazed that out of all of the shots she took of our wedding, every single picture is good, and the majority are absolutely excellent. Not a single picture is bad. Laura is the consummate professional, but she is also a very warm and kind person. That meant a lot to me, because I found the stress of the wedding planning, and the wedding itself, meant that each person who made me feel better about the process was like an angel with invisible wings. Laura was absolutely one of those people. She has a great attitude, her prices are extremely fair, and she is an absolute perfectionist - and it shows in her work product. The biggest problem we've had with Laura's work is trying to decide which pictures to put in our album, because there are so many that we love. In fact, someone I know got married in NYC at the same time we did. This person used what is supposedly one of the top three photographers in all of Manhattan. We compared photos, and I was absolutely amazed at how much better Laura's work was - it was an obvious, huge difference in quality, and I was reassured that we had been lucky indeed to work with her.
If you choose to work with Laura, one of the biggest and most important parts of your wedding is going to turn out really, really well, and it's the one thing that you'll be able to share with others for many decades. I can't recommend Laura Popejoy enough.
